Eleventh BC Paleontological Symposium,
May 20-22, 2016

The Eleventh BC Paleontological Symposium will be held May 20-22, 2016 at the Earth Science Department of Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, BC. The symposium is hosted by the Vancouver Island Paleontology Museum Society and the Earth Science Department at VIU, and is sponsored by the British Columbia Paleontological Alliance.

The Keynote Speaker for the Symposium will be Dr. Ruth Stockey, of Oregon State University in Corvallis, who will speak on "Cretaceous and Tertiary vegetation of Vancouver Island: evidence from anatomy."

Contributions on any and all aspects of British Columbia paleontology are encouraged, especially by students and amateurs. Early-bird registration fee is $75 if paid by February 29, increasing to $85 after that date. The registration fee for students is $70. The deadline for the Abstract submission is April 22. Abstracts received after that date will be considered, but we cannot promise they will be included in the Abstracts booklet if received too late.
